Living with the Land has a new fishing experience. For only $100 you can go deep-sea fishing on the ride. You will get to walk backstage on the ride to the fish tanks, where you will go fishing.

You can fish for tilapia, sturgeon, paddlefish, catfish, bass, alligator, and shrimp. This is a great experience for the novice fisherman all the way to the most experienced.
There is an opportunity to catch some amazing fish and your odds of catching something is extremely high. In fact, Disney will refund any guest who doesn’t catch a fish. On top of that, each guest can choose one fish they catch to eat if they would like. However, there will be an extra fee.
The tilapia are the least expensive at $20 per fish. Meanwhile, the alligators are most expensive at $500 per to eat. The best part is Disney does all of the cooking for you. You will be sat down at a table inside the famous house on the ride and served your fish from five-star chefs. This brand-new experience is a way to make the ride more immersive and fun for the guests.

Disney is always looking for a quick buck and a way to increase immersion. However, PETA is very upset about this. They find it repulsive that Disney is allowing guests to fish on a ride and then eat the poor animals.
They find it even more disgusting that other guests get to watch it happen. For now, this is limited to Living With The Land, however, many are expecting Disney to expand this to The Seas Pavillion eventually.
