The new exhibit’s goal is to show off the advanced technology of cryogenics and freezing human bodies in order to bring them back to life. This makes sense because EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

The park is all about technology, innovation, and the future, and was one of Walt’s passion projects. Essentially, Walt Disney’s body has been frozen under Disney World for decades.

Now, they are finally exposing his body for the world to see. In fact, according to an internal source, they are very close to being able to bring Walt Disney back to life.

However, before they do that, they want to show off his frozen body to give a glimpse into what has been going on behind the scenes for over 50 years. The goal is to bring Walt back to life on December 15, 2026, which will be exactly 60 years after he died and was frozen in the cryogenic chamber.

Because of that, Disney on Ice will be a limited-time exhibit. In fact, it’s expected to be so popular that they will sell individual Lightning Lane passes for the experience as a way to cash in and to control the demand.
