You can now have a beer with Mickey Mouse. This is a new experience at The Garden Grill in EPCOT.
For only $100, you can sit down and enjoy a beer with Mickey. During this experience, guests can chill and chat with Mickey about any topic they want. However, it’s worth noting that this price doesn’t include the beer, just the meet and greet.
The beers will cost an additional $10 per beer. This is a new initiative by Disney to get adults to interact with their characters more. Currently, all character meet and greets at Disney World are child-focused.
Having a beer with Mickey will be the first adult-focused meet and greet. These conversations can range from sports to relationships to even politics. That’s right, you can talk to Mickey about your love or hatred towards Donald Trump and he will respond.
This is another effort by Disney to appeal to Disney Adults, which continues to be a huge market for them. A prime example of this is adding a strip club to the Magic Kingdom, which we reported on here. Many Disney adults are excited about this new experience and it’s expected to sell out.
If this is successful, Disney will bring in more characters for this as well. Goofy, Donald, Minnie, and Daisy would be the next characters on the list. Then, other fan favorites like Elastigirl and Gaston.
