Disney is now growing weed in Living With The Land. They have just planted marijuana in the final section of the ride, by the tomatoes.
Much like the tomatoes, they will grow vertically, which is proven to be the most productive way to grow this plant. According to an internal source, they expect to grow hundreds of pounds a year, which will be served around the Walt Disney World resort.
It will also be available to try for anyone over 21 who goes on the behind-the-scenes tour. However, because of this new addition, Disney has increased the price of that tour by $50. This is because they know that way more people are going to sign up now, which means they can charge a higher price.
This announcement is creating quite the controversy for two obvious reasons. First, many people suggest that it is not legal to grow according to Florida state laws. That is very reasonable and accurate, which is surprising that Disney is doing it.
Second, parents don’t want their kids seeing marijuana plants on a Disney World ride. They believe it promotes bad behavior and degenerate activities.
However, according to an internal source, Disney is doing this to promote the medical benefits of weed rather than the entertainment benefits. Regardless, we expect to see many people leaving the ride vehicles and grabbing some free samples during the ride.
