The United States House and Senate unanimously agreed to put Walt Disney on Mount Rushmore because of his important role in building America. In fact, Walt Disney is widely considered one of the most important people in the history of the United States.

He is right up there with other historical figures like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and of course, Joe Biden. In fact, recently it was announced that Walt Disney will appear on the $100 bill, which we reported on here.

However, not everyone is thrilled with this announcement. Some people are saying that Walt Disney is an extremely controversial figure. Many people are upset with him creating offensive movies like Peter Pan and Song of the South.

In fact, some think that he is one of the most problematic historical figures. However, others think Walt Disney was pivotal in the making of America. Despite this, construction will begin at Mount Rushmore to make Walt Disney the fifth person on the monument.

Construction is expected to take seven years to construct, with the goal of opening on Walt’s 130th birthday in 2031. This will truly be a monumental project with the hopes of bringing America together.
