The Tower of Terror is being rethemed to Frozen. The new ride will be named Frozen Free Fall, here are the leaked details we know so far.
On this new ride, guests will visit Arendelle for Queen Elsa’s coronation. However, that is when things go wrong. In the preshow room, you learn that there is an evil spirit trying to prevent Elsa from being coronated as the queen. It’s up to you, with the help of Anna and Olaf to defeat this evil spirit in time for the coronation.
You will then board the elevators, which will look like sleds. It will bring guests up a level where they see the evil spirits making their plot to foil the coronation. Then, you enter what is currently the fifth dimension, where you see the spirits attacking Elsa as she gets ready for the event.
Finally, guests enter the main elevator shaft, where the spirits have found you, Anna, and Olaf, and have directed their focus on destroying you. This is when your sled drops and rises rapidly, much like the Tower of Terror now.
The current elevator shaft will include a variety of screens and will operate more like Guardians of The Galaxy Mission Breakout, where you watch scenes as you drop and rise.
In the end, riders end up saving Elsa, and the coronation of her as Queen of Arendelle goes on as planned, thanks to you, Anna, and Olaf. The ride will be the same as the Tower of Terror but with a new theme.
