Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is being rethemed to Tangled. The new ride will be named “Flynn Ride: Most Wanted”.
The decision to close Seven Dwarfs Mine Train comes in light of the massive box office flop of the new live-action Snow White. The abysmal performance has forced Disney to close one of their most popular rides.
However, people are excited about the new Tangled roller coaster replacing it. The ride track will remain the same, however, the theme, story, and music will change to Tangled. Essentially, guests will board ride cars that look like Maximus the horse.
Then you’ll join Flynn Rider as he escapes the royal guards and dodges the Stabbington Brothers. On this ride you will navigate through dark tunnels, rickety bridges, and over breathtaking waterfalls—all while clutching the stolen royal crown.
At the end of the ride, guests get to experience the Tangled Lantern fest with Flynn and Rapunzel. While many people are sad that Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is closing permanently, they are excited for this new ride.
It’s about time Disney World gets a Tangled ride, not to mention as a thrilling roller coaster. According to an internal source, Disney was actively exploring retheming the ride to Frozen, Coco, and Encanto, but in the end, Tangled won.
