Peter Pan Removed From Disney+ Due to Indian Scene

Peter Pan is being removed from Disney+. This is because of the controversial scenes featuring Indians.

Over the past few years, these scenes have really started to offend white women. They find it harmful and offensive to other cultures. In fact, just a few years ago, Disney changed the Indian scene on Peter Pan’s Flight at Disney World and Disneyland.

Now, the movie is being removed entirely from Disney+ because of its “problematic nature”. Disney tried adding a trigger warning before the movie that told people it contains outdated cultural stereotypes, specifically regarding the offensive portrayal of Native Americans and the use of slurs.

However, this was not enough of an effort. People found this to be a lame excuse to continue to promote harmful stereotypes of the Indian population. After years of battling the mob, Disney has finally decided to cave and remove the movie altogether from Disney+.

Disney is also considering a DVD and VHS buyback program, where anyone with physical copies of this movie can sell it back to them for money. This is a way for them to remove as much of this controversial movie from circulation as possible.

An internal source mentioned that they were looking at a way of remastering the movie to remove these scenes. However, they decided it would not be possible to maintain the story if they removed the scenes.

They successfully did this with removing I’ll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan, which we reported on here, but that is a much smaller piece of the movie than the Indian scenes in Peter Pan. Overall, a lot of white women are happy that Disney has finally given up on this battle, and they are excited that they won.
