A Hannah Montana reboot is coming to Disney+. The new show will pick up with Hannah Montana on a world tour while attending college.
In this reboot, Hannah Montana/Miley Stewart will be played by Jojo Siwa. Meanwhile, her dad, Robby Stewart will be played by Chris Pratt. Jason Earles will return to play her brother, Jackson Stewart.
As expected, many people are thrilled for the return of Hannah Montana, but not so much for the cast. In fact, many people are complaining saying that Jojo Siwa is the worst possible pick to play Hannah Montana. However, it makes sense.
Miley Cyrus is too controversial in this day and age. Meanwhile, Siwa is known for her talent and personality on and off stage. Plus, her age is perfect for the role to be a college student. The Hannah Montana reboot will follow a similar plot to the original show.
Miley Stewart struggles to balance her schooling, concerts, and relationships. She will even discover that she is a lesbian while having a fun night out. This makes even more sense why Siwa was cast for the role as she is well-known for being gay.
This will likely go down as one of the worst reboots in the history of Disney according to many and there is a lot of stiff competition. Many people are more excited about the Friends reboot by Disney, which we reported on here.
