A new “Die at Disney” experience is coming to Disney World. Disney will be installing euthanasian pods inside The Magic Kingdom with a view of Cinderella Castle.

These pods will be used to kill people who are terminally ill or have a doctor’s note. According to an official statement, “We want to provide a way for people to peacefully die at Disney World. We know that is a dream of many. Our euthanasia pods will allow people to die peacefully with a beautiful view of Cinderella Castle.”

Also, if you choose cremation, they will spread your ashes around the park after it closes. Many people are questioning the ethics of this move by Disney. They don’t believe that people should be actively killed inside a park made for families.

However, others are in full support of this. They suggest that Disney is doing this in a very humane and ethical way and if someone wants to die there and a doctor allows it, they should be able to.

Many people are comparing this to Disney’s euthanasia roller coaster, which we reported on here. Of course, that is a far more fun and exciting way to die, but the view isn’t as good.

The Die at Disney experience is expected to be available in early 2025. Reservations will need to be made online and Lightning Lane will be an option for extra money.
