The episode is part of a darker reimagining of the iconic mouse and features Mickey dropping an F-bomb after a series of slapstick frustrations involving Goofy.
According to an official spokesperson, “Mickey’s been through a lot. This new series explores his more human side. Even icons like Mickey have their limits. We also want to appeal to adults more with our most popular character.” This is the start of an adult-oriented Mickey Mouse cartoon series.
According to an internal source, these cartoons will be rated MA for mature. They will include dark jokes as well as some violence. Our source mentioned that these new cartoons will appeal to audiences that enjoy shows like Family Guy and Rick and Morty for example.
However, many parents are not happy with these new cartoons. They see it as a violation to have Mickey Mouse swearing in a cartoon since he is a family-friendly character. However, many Disney adults are excited to finally see the dark side of Mickey Mouse and have a laugh at it.
