The tornado went right around Magic Kingdom at about 1:00 in the afternoon. Just earlier, there was an announcement asking people to shelter or evacuate the park due to the threat of a tornado. Luckily, it only caused minor damage to the park as it just barely missed it.

An internal source confirmed that Disney used a high-tech system to change the path of the tornado, otherwise it would have hit the park directly. This is part of their hurricane defense system, which we reported on here.

Unfortunately due to everyone sheltering in place, there are no videos of this tornado, only one photo, which is definitely not AI-generated. However, according to multiple eyewitnesses, there were actually sharks seen in the tornado.

This is a huge coincidence with Disney set to film Sharknado 7 in their park. There has not been any official confirmation that there were in fact sharks in the tornado though. We are still awaiting more information from the National Weather Service on whether or not that happened.

The one thing we know is that this was an extremely scary event and many people are lucky to be alive. This tornado could have leveled Disney World.
