The Cars 4 plot was leaked, and it’s the saddest Disney movie ever. The movie begins when Lightning McQueen is struck by a drunk driver while on his way to the biggest race of the year.

He is rushed to the hospital, where he is put into a coma, which has all of his friends worried. They know how much the race meant to Lightning McQueen and still want to race in it in his honor. This requires them to find a new racer and train them in less than one week.

However, they can’t find someone, so Mater decides to step up. The entire team from Radiator Springs gets together to train him for the big race. Everyone knows it’s a long shot, but they have to do it in honor of Lightning McQueen.

On the day of the big race, McQueen wakes up from his coma and is able to watch Mater fly around the track with the entire Radiator Springs crew as his team. In what can only be described as a miracle, Mater wins the race.

They fly in a fancy helicopter to visit Lightning in the hospital and bring him the trophy as he was their inspiration. However, when they get there, the doctors tell them he passed away just after the race ended.

They go in to see their recently passed away friend and tell them all about the win and share one last moment with him. This is widely considered one of the saddest Disney movies, even sadder than Toy Story 5, which we reported on here.
