Drag queen story hour is coming to Disney World. Men will dress up as Disney Princesses like Cinderfella and Princess Jasman to read Disney stories to kids and families.

This is an effort by Disney to promote reading and diversity to all of their guests, young and old. On top of that, they will read controversial books that are banned in Florida schools and libraries. This is an effort to strike back at Governor DeSantis as part of the ongoing battle between the two.
Drag queen story hour will take place at 1:00 every day during pride month, in front of Cinderella Castle. According to Disney, this is the perfect location to gather families to teach inclusivity and acceptance to all who visit Disney World. However, many people are taking offense to this decision by Disney.
They state that Disney World is no place for drag queens, especially with all of the kids around. This is the same reason it is controversial in libraries. However, others are in full support saying that if people don’t like it, they shouldn’t go to Disney World. They claim it should be a place that promotes love, kindness, and being yourself.
So far this is only scheduled to happen during pride month, however, based on its success or failure, it may end early or last longer. This announcement has led to many people claiming they will be boycotting Disney again.
