Disney World is now requiring all guests to walk. This means a complete ban on strollers, electric scooters, wheelchairs, and more.

disney requires walking

The new policy is that if you can’t walk, you can’t go. The reason Disney is doing this is because of the massive congestion caused by strollers, wheelchairs, and electric scooters. Not only are they extremely dangerous for other guests, but they oftentimes get in the way of other people walking.

Because of this, Disney is now mandating that everyone walk in their parks to reduce these two issues. However, as you might imagine, people are not happy about this Disney park news. In fact, the ADA is already planning to file a lawsuit against Disney for discrimination.

They claim that this is discrimination against people who cannot walk and need wheelchairs and electric scooters. Meanwhile, many parents are upset that they can’t bring strollers into the Disney World parks either, with this update. On the other hand, Disney Adults are thrilled about this decision.

They are tired of having to navigate around all of these, especially strollers. Not to mention the numerous complaints about being hit in the leg by these vehicles as well. Only time will tell if Disney keeps this policy or if there is enough backlash that they reverse the decision.
