Disney Removing Donald Trump From The Hall of Presidents

Half of the country considers Donald Trump the worst president of all time. They see him as very divisive and made the country worse during the four years he served as president. Despite this, Disney added him to the Hall of Presidents. However, seven years later, it’s been announced that Disney is removing Donald Trump from The Hall of Presidents.

This announcement makes half of the country happy and the other half of the country upset. However, Disney making controversial decisions isn’t new. For example, Disney making Moana the first transgender Disney princess, which we reported on here. Also, Disney serving human meat at one of their restaurants. Now, Disney is getting controversial again by removing President Trump from the Hall of Presidents.

When Donald Trump was elected president in the 2016 election, the first question many people asked was if he would be added to the Hall of Presidents. Since the ride opened, Disney has always added the current president. However, many people, especially those who work at Disney, cannot stand President Trump. Regardless, they added him to the ride.

The Donald Trump animatronic looked a lot like Hillary Clinton, his opponent. At the time, many people speculated that Disney assumed Clinton would win, so they started on the animatronic early. When Trump won, Disney already invested millions of dollars into this animatronic. Instead of starting over, they reworked the existing animatronic. Upon adding him, he recorded his lines, but it was always controversial.

In fact, oftentimes when President Trump spoke on the ride, he would be booed by guests. He was always a controversial figure on the ride. As the years went on, the disdain for Donald Trump at Disney continued to grow. That, combined with his multiple criminal court cases, has led Disney to the “tough” decision to remove him from the ride.

According to an internal source, after months of debate, Disney has made the tough decision to remove Donald Trump from The Hall of Presidents. They are removing him “due to the problematic nature of his presidency and beyond. This was not an easy decision, but we feel it is the right one to move our country forward as one.”

As you might imagine, this announcement has created some strong feelings. Many people see this as another reason to boycott Disney. They cite that even if he is considered controversial, that doesn’t mean that they should remove him. In fact, this would be the first-ever president that Disney has removed from the attraction.

On the other hand, there are many people who support this. They claim that Disney never should have added him to the ride in the first place. Disney has finally righted a past wrong. They say he destroyed America and that attraction. Removing him from the ride is a much-needed step towards bettering the country. Now people are wondering what Disney will do if he is elected president in 2024.
