Disney debuts creepy Walt Disney animatronic. According to an internal source, they will use this new animatronic in parades to bring Walt Disney to life.
In fact, this will be the first-ever Disney animatronic that will be able to walk in the parade. For now, the design uses a generic human head and has four legs. However, that is a preliminary design.
It’s common for Disney to test animatronics that don’t look like the final design. They create a proof of concept model to test out the look and feel of this design. If the proof of concept model is successful, they will take it to the next step and design it to the actual character.
In this case, it will be a walking animatronic of Walt Disney. According to our source, the hope is to get it to a point where he can talk and interact with guests, like Mickey Mouse.
This would be one of the most innovative animatronics ever and what better person to choose than Walt Disney himself.
If this is successful, they may use this format to put Walt Disney’s real head on it when they unfreeze it. So far, people are afraid of these new animatronics, however, if Disney can improve it, this could be revolutionary.
