According to an internal source, in the new ad, Sweeney says, “My Genes give me so many privileges. I am able to skip lines, get food with ease, and it makes me feel superior to everyone else.”

The purpose of the ad was to promote Disney’s Genie service and Lightning Lane. In fact, the commercial was fully shot and edited, but never aired. It’s clear in the ad that using the word genes is just a slang term for Disney’s Genie service.

The advertisement follows her around Disney World as she is guided by the Disney Genie service. It also shows her purchasing and using Lightning Lane to skip the lines. However, not everyone is taking it that way. Many people are reading into it, much like the American Eagle ad.

They are suggesting that it’s actually Nazi propaganda and is extremely offensive. They cannot believe that Disney was going to air such a controversial and hateful ad.

Meanwhile, other people don’t care at all and are baffled that this is even a discussion. In fact, they think that Disney should still air the ad anyway to get more PR.
