Disney is building a Hooters inside the Magic Kingdom. According to an official statement, “Hooters is one of the most popular fine-dining restaurants in America. Meanwhile, Disney is one of the most popular theme parks in America. Now, two of the most American things are combining their forces.”
The Hooters will replace Casey’s Corner on Main Street USA. As the official statement mentioned, Disney and Hooters are extremely popular, so it just makes sense to have a Hooters inside Disney World.
However, there is another reason they are making this move. Disney is struggling to appeal to men, especially those above 50. In fact, most men don’t like Disney because there is a lack of things for them to enjoy there.
This is why they are building the Whole Nude World strip club, which we reported on here. However, they want more ways to appeal to men, which is a main reason they are adding the Hooters.
The Hooters gives men a reason to want to visit Disney World with their families. By appealing more to older men, Disney can expect to see an increase in revenue and attendance because there is a great incentive to go to the parks.
On top of that, many people are excited about the food at Hooters. It’s often considered some of the best food in America and that alone will bring more people to Disney World.
