They sat down on Main Street USA at 3:00 to begin their protest. Over the next 6 hours, they shouted chants like “Mickey’s profit, nature’s loss, Disney World, we call your bluff!” and “From the swamps to the skies, Disney’s climate sins arise!”

This spectacle led to hundreds of people complaining to guest relations and Cast Members. Many guests stated their anger with the climate activists. Some guests support their motives but want them to find a different place to protest.

Meanwhile, others found it ridiculous and they should be banned from Disney World for life. In fact, a lot of people are asking why Disney Security didn’t take care of these people. According to an internal source, it would reflect more negatively on Disney if they removed the protests than if they let them protest for a few hours.

However, the protest created extreme dangers inside the park. It was not only dangerous for the Cast Members in the parade but also created mass hysteria and congestion on Main Street. Disney is just lucky it didn’t get out of hand because of their new open-carry policy.

What surprises many people is that Disney is taking steps to improve the environment. For example, they are closing the monorails and replacing them with walkways, which we reported on here. Also, they are eliminating all plates and utensils. Clearly, this isn’t enough.
