Cars Land is replacing Dinoland USA inside Animal Kingdom at people are thrilled. Dinoland USA will close permanently to make way for this new land. They will essentially replicate Cars Land in Disneyland.
We know that Radiator Springs Racers as well as Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will all be in the new land. They will also have the popular Cozy Cone Motel, Flo’s V8 Cafe, and Fillmore’s Taste-In for dining.
We also know that Cars Tractor Tipping Adventure will replace DINOSAUR, which we reported on here. Many people are excited that Dinoland will finally be fun. However, not everyone loves this new idea. Animal Kingdom is a zoological theme park and has animal in the name.
People are furious that Disney is dedicating an entire section of the park to Cars, which are not considered animals. Also, Animal Kingdom is focused on environmentalism. However, Cars burn gas and are bad for the environment. Many people are frustrated by this crossover and see this as extremely problematic. One guest said, “Unless Disney turns Lightning McQueen into an electric car, I will never visit Animal Kingdom again. This is disgusting.”
It will be interesting to see what environmental take Disney has on adding Cars to Animal Kingdom. However, as we saw with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, theming doesn’t mean anything to Disney anymore.
