Breaking news, a woman pulled out a gun inside Disney World. According to an official source, today around 1:05 PM, guests noticed a woman holding a large gun in Adventureland.
These guests were riding Pirates of the Caribbean when they saw her. She didn’t appear to be aiming it at anyone, but rather she was holding it in her hand in case she needed to use it. Witnesses say she was yelling about some gentleman wanting rum.
As soon as the ride was over, guests alerted Cast Members that this woman had snuck a gun onto the ride. She was described as being about 5’ 5” tall, 110 lbs, wearing a pink dress, red hat, and having red hair.
Disney immediately shut down the ride and called the police in to do an official investigation. Many people are wondering how this woman was able to sneak such a large gun into the park.
For a short period of time, Disney did allow for open carry in their parks, which we reported on here. However, that rule has since changed because people did not like it and felt unsafe.
So far, there is no official word on whether the woman was detained and what charges might come from this. All we know is that it was an extremely scary situation. Many people think she was just using it to protect some treasure and protect herself from being shot at by a cannon.
