Breaking news, Disney World will host the 2026 NFL Draft. Cinderella Castle will be the main stage for the event.

Mickey Mouse and Roger Goodell will partner up and read off the draft picks alongside other guest stars. The players selected will then walk under Cinderella Castle and onto the main stage for their photo with Goodell and Mickey.

It makes sense that Disney is hosting the 2026 NFL Draft since they purchased the NFL, which we reported on here. On top of that, this will draw a huge crowd to their parks and Disney plans to double hotel and ticket prices during the week of the draft.
Even with the doubled prices, they are expected to be booked out for the entire week due to the massive demand. In fact, the 2025 draft attendance was 600,000 people. Disney is hoping to shatter that attendance and reap the rewards.
This will likely be one of the most successful events for Disney World. However, many NFL fans don’t like this. They don’t want Disney involved in their sport, especially the draft. They feel the focus is going to be on Disney, not the players or the NFL.
However, many potential players are excited because they will get to ride the attractions during the draft and will get free Lightning Lane passes to use.
