Breaking news, Disney buys the NFL for $200 billion. Disney has plans to make significant changes to the league.
Starting in the 2025 season, Disney will run the entire NFL. The first season will run as normal. However, in 2026, Disney will take steps to make the league more fair and level the playing field.
According to an internal source, this will come from better training of the refs to help influence the games and make them closer. This is to make the NFL more competitive and exciting. On top of that, they will add more storytelling and magic to the football games.
It’s not yet clear what they will add for storytelling and magic, however, they want the games to be more entertaining to watch. We expect there to be more of a focus on NFL wives and girlfriends like Taylor Swift, to create overarching love stories around the players.
In the most shocking part, Disney will also require all teams to have a minimum of five women players. Also, each woman needs to start at least one game per season. They will also require at least one woman on the coaching staff as well. This is to bring more equality to the NFL.
Overall, many people think Disney is going to ruin the NFL. This is especially true with the fact that they purchased the Kansas City Chiefs, which we reported on here. Some are wondering if Disney will rig it so the Chiefs win every year.
