Breaking news, a Fortnite theme park is coming to Disney World. This will be a brand-new theme park based on the video game Fortnite. This is part of the new Epic Games and Disney collaboration.
The new theme park will fully immerse guests in the world of Fortnite. Guests will be able to explore some of their favorite locations, meet characters, and ride epic rides. Essentially, the park will be based on the OG Fortnite map. It will include lands like Tilted Towers, Salty Springs, Dusty Depot, and more.
Each of the different areas will have rides, dining, and shopping in it. For example, Tilted Towers will have a few different rides, one of them being a drop ride similar to the Tower of Terror. It will also have a Pizza Pit restaurant and a store where people can buy Fortnite merchandise.
On top of all of that, guests will be able to take pictures with and get autographs of their favorite Fortnite characters from the game. Very few details have been released about the new theme park, but we do know it is a $50 billion theme park, which will be the most expensive Disney theme park ever built.
This is an effort to compete directly with Epic Universe, which is about to take a lot of market share from Disney. Many people are excited about Disney’s new Fortnite theme park. They see it as a huge opportunity for Disney, however, it’s not expected to open until 2035.
