Breaking news, Moana will die in Moana 3. This will be the saddest Disney movie yet and the end of the Moana movie series.
Here is what we know so far about the Moana 3 plotline. Moana and Maui set out on an adventure, however, after setting sail, Moana starts to feel sick. They decide to return to the island of Motunui, however, there is a massive storm surge.
Maui is able to successfully navigate back to the island and rushes Moana to a doctor. After she undergoes further testing, the doctors diagnose Moana with smallpox. At this point, Moana’s family comes together to stay by her in the hospital bed as she battles the deadly disease.
Unfortunately, after a hard-fought battle, Moana dies from smallpox. This breaks the family’s heart, however, they knew Moana was a fighter. Simea, her younger sister, vows to fill Moana’s shoes.
She and Maui grow closer and go on adventures as a team. Eventually, Simea is named Queen of Motonui. She steps into an important role in leading the villagers and making their lives better. She does all of this in memory of Moana, living in the way Moana would want her to live.
This makes for an emotional ending to Moana 3. In fact, many people don’t even want to see Moana 3 with how sad it will be. It will be even sadder than Toy Story 5, which we reported on here.
