Disney World is all about making their parks special for people. For example, Furry Days, where people can come to the parks dressed as furries. Of course, this was a very controversial decision allowing furries into a theme park full of kids. Well, Disney is at it again with another special day. This time, it was just announced that Women Only Days are coming to Disney World.

Not long ago we reported here on Adult Only Days coming to Disney World. This news had people excited. It’s a day at Disney without the crying, strollers, and kids. This went over very well with Disney adults who don’t like kids and see them as a hindrance. Well, half of the population is just as excited for Women Only Days coming to Disney World.
What are Women Only Days at Disney?
Women Only Days at Disney World is just as the name implies, a day that only women can visit the Disney World theme parks. This applies to women of any age, not just adults as well. That’s right, men will not be allowed in any of the Disney World parks on these select days. This is an effort by Disney to celebrate women and all of their accomplishments, by giving them their own days at Disney World.

Women Only Days will take place every Monday in March of 2024. March of course is Women’s History Month, so it makes sense that Disney is hosting Women Only Days during that month. As you may know, Women’s History Month is meant to celebrate the successes and achievements of women. Many women are excited for the Women Only Days because it gives them a break from men and lets them celebrate together.
Everything during the Women Only Days at Disney World will seem normal, except for the fact that there will only be women inside the Disney World parks. In fact, Disney will only hire women to work on these days as well. No male cast members will be allowed to work in the parks on Women Only Days. However, it’s worth noting that Disney will have special merchandise and desserts to celebrate Women Only Day.
Disney World Women Only Days Controversy
As you might imagine, Women Only Days at Disney World isn’t without controversy. In fact, men were the first to speak out against this event. They claim that it’s problematic they are banning all men from the theme parks on these days. It’s so bad that some men are considering filing a lawsuit against Disney for discrimination because of this event.

The other concern over Women Only Days is what is a woman? It’s not clear whether or not Disney is only allowing biological women to enter the park or if anyone who self-identifies as a woman will be allowed inside the park. As you imagine, this is a hot-button issue, especially in 2023. People on both sides of the argument have strong feelings.
Many argue that if the event is strictly for biological women, then it excludes a large majority of people who self-identify as women. This could be seen as discrimination. On the other hand, if Disney allows anyone who identifies as a woman in, people expect that many men will show up for Women Only Days. They may identify as women, just to get into the theme park, much like we saw at the men who crashed the Women’s tech fair. Clearly, some details still need to be worked out in regards to Women Only Days at Disney World.
