Riders were stranded for 36 hours on the Disney Skyliner. According to reports, on Wednesday afternoon, the Skyliner malfunctioned and stopped working.

There was no feasible way of getting it fixed in the short term, so Disney and local firefighters had to evacuate guests from their gondolas. However, there were multiple gondolas that firefighters could not get access to, which meant the guests were stuck in them while Disney tried to fix the issue.

Mechanics worked around the clock in an effort to fix it; however, it took them 36 hours to do so. Early Friday morning, the gondolas started moving again, and Disney was able to finish the evacuation and get everyone off safely.
The people stuck in the cars said it was the most traumatic experience of their lives. Luckily, the emergency kits had a few bottles of water and a biohazard bag for going to the bathroom.
However, most men just peed out the doors because it was more fun. Fortunately, Disney gave all the riders who were stuck a $100 gift card that they could use anywhere on property as an apology.
Despite this, multiple guests are planning a lawsuit against Disney to pay for emotional damages. They are hoping that Disney will pay their lifetime bill for therapy after this traumatic experience.
