Disney World Will Not Celebrate Christmas Anymore

Disney World will not celebrate Christmas anymore. This is due to the “controversial nature of Christmas”.

According to an official spokesperson, “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and all other Christmas celebrations will be canceled at Disney World starting in 2025. We recognize that there are more holidays and we want to have a more inclusive celebration for all people and religions.”

Disney will not be stopping all celebrations around Christmas time, however, they will no longer be centered around Christmas. In fact, starting in 2025, Disney will host a new party called Mickey’s Very Merry Party.

They will also hang holiday decorations around the park that are more inclusive to all religions and celebrations, less focused on Christmas. They will also remove Santa from there parks. This is all happening while Disney and Hallmark partner for a Christmas movie, which we reported on here.

However, Disney will still play some Christmas music around their parks. It will be mixed in with a variety of Jewish and Kwanza holiday songs as well. Many people are upset with this decision stating that Christmas is an American holiday and if people don’t like it, they can leave.

Meanwhile, others are happy that Disney is finally moving away from Christmas, wondering why it took so long in the first place. While Disney is moving away from Christmas, they are still essneitlaly using it to make more money, without calling it Christmas.
