Disney World ticket prices will triple in 2025. The lowest ticket price currently is $119. However, in 2025, this same ticket will cost you $359. This huge increase has many people concerned and that’s not even the worst part.
During peak season, like July for example, tickets currently cost $189 for the Magic Kingdom for one day. This will increase to a staggering $569 for the same exact ticket. That means a family of four will pay nearly $2,300 for one day at Disney World.
This is blatant price gauging by Disney but it comes as no surprise. In fact, over the past 5 years, Disney crowds have continued to increase. Disney has a serious supply and demand issue. However, adding more capacity to their parks to increase supply costs money.
On the other hand, charging people more will decrease demand and not cost them anything. In fact, many top economists are expecting this to have a positive revenue impact for Disney. A trip to Disney World is already not very affordable for most American families.
With Disney tripling the ticket prices, the most magical place on earth will be even less affordable. It’s expected that Disney parks will be less crowded because of this. People are hoping that Disney will use this additional revenue to replace Cinderella Castle after the fire and fix the many other broken rides in their parks. Either way, tripling the price of tickets is shocking and may have a negative impact on Disney.
