Disney World is now requiring an IQ test to buy park tickets. You will need to have an IQ of at least 100 in order to check out.

Disney has implemented an IQ test as part of the checkout process. When anyone has Disney World tickets in their cart, they will be prompted to take a short 15-minute IQ test. This is similar to the Disney World Exam that was required to buy tickets, which we reported on here.

Then, at the end of the test, you will get a score. If your IQ test score is less than 100, then you will not be able to buy Disney World tickets. However, you can retake the test as many times as you would like in order to pass.

Many people are asking why Disney is requiring this test. According to an internal source, the guest experience is on a significant decline. Much of this is because of the behavior of other guests. There has been a drastic increase in guest incidents including fights and walking off of rides in the middle of them.

On top of that, people continue to jam up walkways, don’t know how to use strollers, and increase wait times by not keeping up with the party in front of them. All of these issues can be reduced or even avoided by increasing the average intelligence of guests within the theme park.

Disney expects that a better guest experience will lead to people spending more money at their theme parks.
