Disney World is no longer accepting food stamps. We originally wrote about them accepting food stamps (SNAP), here. This is effective immediately and has a ton of families upset and worried.

With this shocking news, they are wondering how they will be able to feed their families while they are on vacation at Disney World. They don’t think it is fair for Disney to stop accepting food stamps (SNAP) without any notice, especially with how expensive it is there.

Apparently, Disney is doing this in conjunction with the Government Shutdown. In fact, according to government data, 42 million people are on food stamps, which is 1 in every 8 Americans, which is clearly insane.
This is why so many people are worried about Disney no longer accepting them. However, many reasonable people are confused by the outrage. They are wondering how someone who is on food stamps is able to afford a trip to Disney World in the first place.
After all, the average cost of a Disney World trip is now $15,000. If they are able to afford a trip to Disney World, they shouldn’t be on food stamps, many people argue. They believe too many Americans are on food stamps and that number needs to be reduced.
These people think that using food stamps and visiting Disney World should be mutually exclusive and there shouldn’t be overlap. Imagine saving $15,000 and putting that towards feeding your family instead, they suggest.
