New Year’s Eve and Christmas are the two busiest days at Walt Disney World. People love taking family trips to celebrate the two major holidays at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

However, that means that there are more people in the parks, creating longer wait times. Well, New Year’s Eve 2026 brought in the longest wait times ever recorded in Disney World history. In fact, the Tower of Terror boasted a 1110-minute wait time. Speaking of long lines, check out our Waiting in Line Sucks shirt below! You can order it on Etsy here!

For those playing along at home, that is 18 and a half hours in line. That is actually INSANE! Meanwhile, Tron Lightcycle Power Run and Test Track maxxed out at 750 minutes.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster wasn’t far behind with a wait time of 735 minutes. That makes sense as the ride is sadly being rethemed to the Muppets, so a lot of people are getting their last few rides on the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith.

Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy was only 530 minutes, which is rather short compared to some of the other rides. Also, surprisingly, Mission: Space had a wait time of 370 minutes, which is truly shocking.

Other rides that had a wait time over 300 minutes include Dumbo, The Mad Tea Party, and The Tomorrowland Speedyway. Luckily, rides like the Peoplemover, Carousel of Progress, and Astro Orbiter were all only between 35-75 minutes.
Overall, New Year’s Eve 2026 set wait time records that will be hard to beat. This will go down as the busiest day at Disney World, ever, and will likely not be beat.
