Disney World is banning people 65 years and older. This is to make their parks safer and reduce the number of injuries and deaths.

According to an official statement, “In order to make Disney World a safer place, adults over 65 will no longer be allowed inside the theme parks. If you are eligible for Medicare, you’re not eligible to visit Disney World.”

It’s worth noting that a majority of injuries at Disney World are from older people. This includes broken hips, knees, and backs while embarking and disembarking from rides. In fact, getting off of Space Mountain is considered one of the most dangerous activities an elderly person can do.
It’s more dangerous than pickleball. That’s according to many top doctors across the United States. Even rides like it’s a small world are considered extremely dangerous for those who are over 65 years old.
Another life-threatening activity at Disney World is walking down Main Street USA, over the trolley tracks. Those tracks claim thousands of injuries every single year, most of them being older than 65.
While Disney World banning people older than 65 years old has many people frustrated, a lot of people understand why they are doing this. The last thing Disney wants is injuries in their park.
They would rather get sued for age discrimination than have old people getting hurt in their parks. Many top legal experts believe this will end up in court and will be overturned in a matter of months.
