Disney World adds trigger warnings to their rides. This is a way to warn people before they get in line that the ride may be problematic to some.

Here is what the new trigger warning will say. “This ride includes negative depictions and/or mistreatments of people or cultures. These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than removing the ride, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it, and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together.”

The text goes on, but that’s the gist of the trigger warning for Disney rides. This is very similar to the safety warning signs. In fact, these trigger warnings will be posted at the entrances to the rides that require them.

Some of the attractions that will have these signs include The Jungle Cruise, it’s a small world, Peter Pan’s Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Tower of Terror, and more. While this is only a small change, many people are upset over it.

They’re wondering why Disney needs these trigger warnings in the first place. They say that if someone’s offended they can either not go to Disney or suck it up. Meanwhile, other people are happy that Disney is fixing past injustices.
