Disney is removing the pole dancers from their monorails. A few weeks ago, Disney created adult-only monorail cars that had pole dancers.

This was to improve the guest experience and give guests a more enjoyable ride on their monorails. They designed the windows so riders could see out, but people couldn’t see in. You also needed to be over 18 years old and pay a $50 cover fee to get in.

However, this monorail club only lasted a few weeks before Disney ended its run. According to an internal source, this failed for two reasons. First, the cost was just too high. People weren’t willing to pay the $50 cover fee to see the pole dancers on the monorails.
Second, there was a lot of negative backlash against this. Many parents and people in general were not happy with Disney for adding this to their family-friendly theme park. They feel like it is inappropriate for their theme parks.
Disney did see an increase in men visiting their theme parks because of this addition; however, it was not significant enough to warrant keeping.
Many people are happy that Disney is finally moving back to a more family-friendly environment on their monorails by removing the pole dancers. Now, people want them to get rid of the Star Wars strip club, which we reported on here.
