Disney removes the minimum height requirement for their rides. This comes after Disney lost a discrimination lawsuit against the ACLU.

The lawsuit claimed that having a minimum height requirement discriminates against short people or as they call them “people of short stature”. The argument is that Disney rides should be accessible to all people regardless of how tall they are.
However, many engineers and physicist are saying that this is the most dangerous decision that Disney has ever made. They argued against the lawsuit, claiming that the height requirements are there for the safety of guests. They state that height requirements aren’t discrimination against people’s height, but rather a way to ensure they don’t fall out or get hurt on the rides.
However, these days feelings are more important than the actual safety of guests. In fact, many engineers are afraid that there will be a surge in injuries on Disney rides because of this huge change. This means that kids of any age, including newborns, will be allowed on all rides at Disney World.
For example, 2 year olds can now ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which many say is clearly unsafe. However, people like Kevin Hart and Tom Cruise are thrilled that Disney is removing the minimum height requirement.
Now they can finally enjoy all the Disney World rides like their friends and family. Many people are wondering if Disney is going to remove the maximum weight requirements as well, which we reported on here.
