Disney is forcing strangers to share hotel rooms and beds. For example, if you book a room with two queen beds for two people, Disney may require you to also room with two strangers.

This is part of their new Fill The Bed Policy. The goal of this policy is to be able to book more people in their hotels. In the scenario earlier, that would normally require two rooms, a room for each group of guests.

However, by pairing up the two groups into one room, Disney is able to save an entire room to make available for other guests. This allows them to maximize the use of the beds in their resorts.

The goal for Disney is to fill all beds with bodies. Also, it’s worth noting that Disney will not separate groups in a reservation to fill beds, they will only add other guests to your room.

According to an internal study, implementing the Fill The Bed policy will allow Disney to increase their hotel capacity by up to 30%. In one year, this could bring in an additional $3 billion in revenue.

However, people are not happy with this policy. They don’t want to have strangers in their Disney hotel rooms, not to mention sharing a bed with them. This opens the door to theft and many other potential crimes.
