Disney will weigh all guests at the entrance of their parks. If they weigh under 200 lbs, they will be let in. However, if they weigh over 200 lbs, they will be turned away.

According to an internal source, Disney is implementing the weight limits for two main reasons. First off, it’s an incentive for people to lose weight. There is a massive obesity epidemic, and Disney is weighing in on it by forcing people to lose weight if they want to go to their theme parks.

Second, the more you weigh, the more wear and tear you put on the Disney parks. This is mostly focused on the rides. Disney is putting more maintenance into their rides year over year because heavier humans are putting more stress on the rides.

On top of that, there is general wear and tear on the walkways, buses, monorails, electric scooters, and more. As you might imagine, people are not happy with this move by Disney.

They’re mad that Disney is discriminating against fat people, even if it’s for their safety. In fact, some are suggesting Disney will be sued over this decision. Even the ACLU is weighing in on this controversial move.
