Breaking news, Disney World is testing all guests for the flu. Now, in order to enter Disney World, you need to take a rapid flu test.
In fact, this is similar to a rapid covid test. A Disney Cast Member will swab your nose and use proprietary technology to get instant results. If you test positive for the flu, you will not be allowed inside Disney World.
You can, however, come back at a later time or day to re-test in order to get in. This is especially important if you think you had a false positive test. Disney is doing this to keep their Cast Members and guests safe.
This comes in light of the drastic rise in flu cases around the US. In fact, Disney is the first public company to require people to test negative for the flu. However, some doctors like Dr. Faucci want all public places to implement this like Target, Walmart, Qdoba, and so on.
Many people are worried that this is going to turn into the next pandemic scare and lockdown. In fact, there are even talks of Disney testing for Norovirus as well.
These rapid tests would require guests to provide a sample of their stool on demand, which has many people worried. There are privacy concerns as well as concerns about the ability to produce a stool at a moments notice.
