Breaking news, Disney World is raising their drinking age to 31. This is due to an increase in issues from guests drinking in their parks.

According to an internal source, Disney even considered banning alcohol altogether. However, they felt that was too extreme, so for now they have changed the drinking age to 31 years old.

Many people are wondering if Disney even has the right to raise the drinking age, which is set by the United States Government. However, many legal experts have chimed in saying that Disney does have this right.
This is because they are a private company and can set the rules in their parks. In fact, if they wanted to raise the drinking age to 51, they could. Despite the legal case for this, people are not happy about it.
Disney adults love to get hammered at a place made for families and do crazy things like climb buildings. They’re mad that Disney is taking away their right to drink at the age of 21. In fact, this will likely cause a decline in revenue for Disney World; however, it will make it a more family-friendly environment again.
The good news is that if this has a big impact on Disney World attendance or revenue, they can always change the rules back to 21. Disney World’s new drinking age of 31 is set to debut in December 2025.
