Disney World and Disneyland are oftentimes considered staples of America. They were theme parks created by a man living out the American dream. Walt Disney was as American as anyone could possibly be. However, America is currently a fractured country and it’s getting worse. Because of this, the Walt Disney Company decided to officially secede from the United States.

The Disney parks have made a lot of interesting moves recently. For example, they removed the drinking age on property after a long fight with the State of Florida. Also, we saw them actively preparing for World War III, which we reported on here. Both of these decisions and many more had people wondering why a theme park in Florida was taking these initiatives. Now it’s clear with the announcement that Disney World and Disneyland have seceded from the United States.
The Disney Parks Secede
In a shocking and legally confusing announcement, both Walt Disney World and Disneyland have officially seceded from the United States. This means that neither of the parks are considered part of America anymore. Essentially the land that encompasses each of the parks is now part of a new country, fittingly named Disneyland and Walt Disney World. That’s right, both of the theme parks are now their own countries, named after the theme park.

Now that the Disney theme parks are their own country, anyone entering will have to go through border security and have their passport. And yes, they will be checking for drugs at the security point as well. Disney will also be responsible for supplying their own electricity and water. Luckily, both theme parks were already planning for this and have that all setup. It’s almost as if they had been planning to seced for more than 10 years.
It’s also worth noting that with Disney seceding, it’s likely we will see an increase in prices across the resort. This includes tickets, food, drinks, hotels, souvenirs, and more. This is because Disney will likely implement a new tax to help maintain their sovereignty as a country and support any infrastructure to keep their countries running.
Why Did Disney World and Disneyland Secede?
Many people are surprised that Disney World and Disneyland seceded from America. After all, many claim that America is the greatest country on earth. However, according to an internal source, Disney World was already basically operating as its own country. However, they still had to deal with the taxes of being part of the US and Florida and California. It’s because of this that Disney decided they were tired of it and wanted to become independent.

According to a legal expert, seceding from the United States is usually not something that can be done. However, given the magnitude of Disney and their own military strength, the US government allowed them to secede. Had the government not allowed this, we would have essentially seen a war between Disney and the US. This is something that the United States had no interest in, so instead, they just let them become their own countries.
Many people are speculating that Disney World and Disneyland will fail as their own countries. If this happens, it’s likely they will just return to being a part of the United States. However, Disney is known for swinging for the fences and doing their own thing. A lot of people think this will work in Disney’s favor. In fact, we’re already seeing people campaigning for positions for the new Disney World and Disneyland governments.
